CENSORSHIP ON THE WEB

Most of the people who know me, know that I am opinionated. I do not approve of a lot of things that are on the web. I don’t have the right to decide what someone else wants to view on the web. I believe in the “freedom of the press” and “free enterprise” system that America was founded on. “Different strokes for different folks!” I believe that government can have too much power and that it can be abused. I don’t approve of pornography, but unless it’s exploiting children under the age of consent; then people should be able to decide for themselves what to look at or not look at. No one is holding a gun to their heads and making them view anything. I also don’t approve of pictures of trashy, nasty looking “ho’s” who hang out of their clothes and are so desperate for attention, that they are willing to degrade themselves for it or material gain. I have known of men that enjoyed watching nasty women and men expose themselves on the IM, which is free. So, in essence they are throwing themselves away for free, for any pervert or deviant to masturbate to. In my opinion, they have no morals or dignity, but still I, nor anyone else should have the right to dictate to them what they are allowed to watch. I also don’t approve of drunks and dope fiends being plastered across the web, and made to look like it is socially approved of behavior to get drunk, stoned, or have sex with anyone who is willing. I believe that it is all about perception! Everyone in the world has their own version of reality.

No one person should have the right to decide what is good for everyone else. I think that there should be NO censorship on the web, unless it is exploiting others to do it. The individual should be prepared to deal with whatever ramifications that they may incur from their activities on the web. If the person wasn’t doing anything that they were ashamed of, then they wouldn’t have to worry about what other’s thought about them or did to them or who viewed it. My advice, is be prepared because “Big Brother” IS watching you, and God only knows who all else. No information is private on the web, or your cellular phone, or any public communication system.

Don’t post anything that you wouldn’t want anyone to have access to. Better to be “safe than sorry”.
