[INFOGRAPHIC] How green is your iPad?

RE-e-CYCLE

Sortable.com has put together an infographic for those iPad users out there.

The inforgraphic includes the total emissions produced by the iPad, the environmental impact of the iDatacenter, electronic waste and how Apple is trying to decrease it, and more.

From this infographic and our previous post, we’re starting to notice a pattern here.

We came to a realisation that previous models are often more environmental friendly than their NEW device – toxicity level of iPhone 5 was ranked higher than their previous mobile (4S) and as you can see from this infographic, greenhouse gas emissions of the New iPad (180kg CO2e) were also recorded much higher than the prior model (105kg CO2e).

Is technology really evolving? It looks like it’s going backwards in e-waste-wise.
